The nursery, the place were Lily’s toys and books are read and played with, the spot were all her diaper changes will be and her sweat dreams will take place. And as of yet, the room is sadly not finished. Michael and I were unable to finish Lily’s nursery before she was born, unable to know the gender, we were unable to get her crib until a few weeks before her birth, and just last week we finally were given her dresser which was once my grandparents and which we will be making into her changing table station which all hindered us to finish her nursery, but since we chose to keep Lily in our bedroom in her bassinet since her birth we were able to have some time to get the nursery together, and finally we are starting to get her room together, and finally picked out the theme, rainbows!
My mother surprised us with personally tie-dying a sheet to use as curtain in her nursery which gave me the idea for bright colors which lead me to the idea of rainbows, I loved the idea, I thought colors were an educational idea so that we can later teach her colors and all we have to do is just point them out on her walls and around her room, I thought it would hopefully start her creativity also.
So what are our plans other then just colorful curtains? Below are some ideas I have gotten from Pinterest that I will begin soon!
What do you think of a rainbow nursery? Do you have any DIY projects I could do to decorate?
